This guy obviously didn't test for absence of voltage and his reaction is priceless! But what will the future hold for absence of voltage testing?
Welcome back, everybody! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season with your families and loved ones. Many of our loved ones often have dangerous jobs with lingering statistics looming over their heads each year. To start this year, we want to raise awareness around these hazards that exist in our industry and how they can be prevented.
Welcome back, everybody! We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. For many, many years Grace has taken part in charities like Toys for Tots during the holiday season to help make an impact globally and spread joy. However, this year Drew mentioned how cool it would be if we did something locally, within the community we reside in. Jane brought this vision to fruition when she introduced us to Joyce Klopp, the Director of a local nonprofit organization called Hope at the BRICK House.
It certainly was a Merry Christmas at Grace last Thursday for our first pre-Christmas celebration party in a few years. Because of our traveling sales force and conflicting schedules, we have celebrated Christmas after the holidays in the years prior. But this year, most of our staff was able to attend and Grace went all out to celebrate! Here's how that event went down:
Some people love what they do. We recently launched an Instagram profile for our company to share fun and cool pictures from our industry and increase our digital footprint in the process. If you check it out and decide to follow, fear not! It may seem like a barren wasteland now with only a few pictures posted, but we plan to find the coolest things going on in the electrical landscape so we can post about them.
As a person with a final exam coming up for my Technical Writing course, this note I came across online hit me right in the feels! I started taking this course (thanks to Grace!) to improve my writing capabilities and learn how to conduct case studies and publish white papers. We have a few in the works right now and, to me, it is very cool to see how our products work in the field and affect the day-to-day operations of people working on and around voltage.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week! I was fortunate enough to travel to Santa Fe to celebrate with my family. While I was there, Tesla revealed their newest car, as well as a 500 mile range, self-driving, electric semi truck. Since I've been making the long road trip to New Mexico every year for Christmas with my dog, I have longed for self-driving, autopilot technology, so this stuff gets me pretty excited.
This year, we're thankful for all of you who came out to Automation Fair and stopped by our booth! As some of you are aware, I did not attend this year so I asked our people with boots on the ground to let me know how it went and it sounds like we had yet another successful outing at our annual biggest tradeshow event of the year.
If you're in Houston today for the Automation Fair, come stop by our booth (#1102 & #1103) and ask about our new GraceSense™ Hot Spot Monitor (HSM) demonstration. This year, we're giving away two DJI drones to lucky attendees who come by and enter to win. But we have plenty more to offer with our electrical safety solutions! So come see what's new at Grace at the largest event of the year, Automation Fair and learn more about the HSM by watching the video below.
Are you attending the Rockwell Automation Fair in Houston this year? We'll be there at booths 1102 & 1103, which are right across from one another in what I call Grace Alley. Stop by our booth and ask about our new GraceSense™ Hot Spot Monitor demo tower for a chance to win a drone!
